For those using iPad I found a wonderful app called Flipboard. It is a reader program that will link to Google Reader, Facebook, Twitter, some news orgainzations, and a number of other online sources. It is then read like a magazine with each post as an article. For reading out PLN I found it to be easy.
Flipboard for Ipad
Looks like a great app (and makes me want my own iPad even more so I can stop borrowing my husband's). :)
ReplyDeletep.s. I typed the web address into my browser to get to the Flipboard website, but when I tried to click on your link I got an error that said the URL wasn't "valid" and couldn't be loaded.
Thank you Mrs. Kling. I fixed the link. This class is a great "reason" to buy your own iPad. The class book is available as an ebook. I have it on my iPad for $10. I also download the pdf readings to my ipad to read whenever I get a minute or two. If the next class book is available in digital format, the price of the iPad starts to get defrayed. I have read message boards and made posts from coffee shops. Using the app Pages and Keynote I have made slide presentations and done processing on the go. The iPad has not replaced my computer, but it has made the readings and message board work and small tasks more portable and pleasant.
ReplyDeleteBuy one for yourself, you can blame me. I don't mind.
